Just wanted to let you guys know that I found a super easy solution to the mp10 impeller shaft issues on the wet side.
I know there are a few threads on here about fixing it with heat shrink, but it doesn’t quite work right. I found the easiest method possible and it costs $1.79 for a 10 pack of repairs. Bic Cristal xtra smooth 1mm medium pen. Pull the in tube out, cut the end off and it slides right over the metal shaft and in between the impeller.
You may have to pull the ceramic portion out of your impeller if it isn’t loose. All in all it took me about 10 minutes. I hope this helps. Photo of the pen and tools used attached.
My next topic will be the bearing services.
