Looking at the numbers, 2 mp10s should give you plenty of flow. However, if you ever upgrade tanks, the mp40s may come in handy in a larger tank, and they can be run on low power until then.I’m debating on getting 2 MP10s or 2 Mp40’s. It would be on a waterbox 70.3 which is about a 45 gallon display tank. I will also have the Nyos viper 5.0 return pump. What should I go with?

I’ve been thinking mp40 because the glass thickness is 10mm as well. Just scared that it will be too much flow even with both of them in low power
Thats a tough decision for sure. I’ll let some others with more experience chime in. Have you thought about other pumps, or are these the only ones that really fit the criteria of what you’re wanting?I’ve been thinking mp40 because the glass thickness is 10mm as well
I just like the thought of having no wires in the tank that’s the only reason I’m leaning on the vortech pumpsThats a tough decision for sure. I’ll let some others with more experience chime in. I’m just going to go with the 10s and hopefully they don’t fall off on the 10mm glass
