Yeah the hulk looks better I saw them both in person .... I just picked up a season greetings today its a sick one not your average evergreen color mines a nuclear green ... Out of any coral there mystic sunset monti is the brightest coral in the shop , is a neon pink with blue/purple polyps .... It hurts your eyes its encrusting the bottom of there 500g next to some other crazy montis . They run all t5 ho blue bulbs and 30 different kinds of led supplement strips all of the blue variety and run halide for like 2-3 hr a day . Its pretty sick the growth and color they get as well .

I am moving the end of this month ... I just sold off my entire tank and coral collection ... I just figured I would rebuild it when I get setup up there .. I think I am getting a 65g with 6 t5s . I am debating if I should buy a ro/di unit and salt and mix it myself or buy it from a store up there .. What kind of salt does the coral reef use ?

The coral reef uses Instant Ocean. My RODI is one of the best purchases I have made.

Plain IO and not RC? What used to happen at CR when Chris worked there has no bearing on what happens now at CR. hah hah

I know, for a fact that CR moved to using RC because I helped out with the decision making on it. What I don't know is whether they still use it or not.

I decided I am going to sell one of my high end guitars and go all out on this tank .. I am hoping to go get this setup tommorow ...... 65g reef ready with stand , canopy , 29g sump with euroreef skimmer . for light 6 icecap retro t5's with 3 powerbrite blue leds pretty good start huh all used for a very fair price ? Here is the last know photo of my tank I just sold off last week haha .

Biocube 14 with a ai nano , vortech mp 10 and intank media basket .. It was about as tricked out as I could get it the growth was awesome and so was the color but all led's just didn't do it for me . I mean with normal lights you have to worry about placement of coral with led's you have to worry about how much % you want them on and coral placement . I didn't know if It was my coral placement or the lights were to bright or to dim . Its just to tricky so I am going to have t5 for my primary lights with just some blue led's for my supplement .

Well its official ... signed the contract on a sick house in the cedar bluff/ walker spring area ... perfect bonus room above the garage for a reef den . Its 5 miles to the coral reef, I think i am going to do a 70g cube or 93 g instead of the 17g

I saw that before haha ..... If it still available when I move up here I am buying it for sure . I am not sure on how to light it yet.... I bought a ai sol blue with the intentions of putting it on a solana or 17g .... So I am going to have to double up on them or get t5's and put them with the sol which might work pretty well. I could have the t5's on with the blue led's all day and for a hour crank the whites up really high for growth .
