Squid (does this have to have guts?)
Salmon (can i give supermarket salmon with no additives?)

what else? i know lion king says krill is bad so i will avoid krill what about whole shell prawns?

should i freeze the food first to kill any parasites or bacteria?

Squid and octopus are about the same nutritionally. Salmon is the opposite so switching between those two is great.

I also add occasionally small shrimp like krill though human grade too.

You can just go to a grocery and pick up various seafood and try it.

For an in depth discussion on diet (please correct me if you see anything dubious in it), see the link below, but for a brief version:
For the specific diet, my recommendations would be:

-Salmon and/or mackerel

-Clam, mussel, and/or oyster (scallops should not be used)

-Squid and/or octopus

-Fresh/live whole shrimp

-Fresh crab

Other good additions include:

-Other high quality fish meats (high in healthy fats and protein; low in thiaminase)

-Live brackish/saltwater feeder fish (such as guppies and/or mollies; freshwater feeder fish like rosies and goldfish should not be used)

-High quality feeds like those quoted below (which I would suggest feeding to feeder animals before offering the animals to a predator)
You generally want to avoid things that are high in thiaminase, so fresh shrimp is great; old frozen shrimp may not be.

Feeding the whole animal (with guts) is likely the best option, but it's not necessary.

San Francisco brand silversides are also great. Other brands use different fish species of questionable nutritional value. They are whole fish so they have guts/head ect for added nutrition.

I've looked more into pebbletooth eels than fangtooths, but I can tell you not to go with an angler for a tankmate (with a pebbletooth, maybe, but it's basically just a free meal for a fangtooth assuming it doesn't try to eat the eel).

Generally, you want tough, larger-bodied fish with fangtooths, so I usually see people going with things like tangs and triggers; I'm not sure if any smaller fish would work or not.

I gobies or blennies. Triggers can be a bad idea as they can go after eels and steal food. Dwarf angels are good and tangs
