So I currently have 2 black mollies cycling my tank and they’ve been doing really well for awhile but I’ve been noticing stringy poop that stays on the fish even as they’re swimming. I know that that means my fish are constipated so I tried giving them some carrots for a few days but I didn’t notice a difference in poop. My fish started to not eat the carrots around the third day of feeding them just carrots so I put them back on regular flakes (I use omega one flakes). Should I just wait it out? Or try different foods?

Is it white?
White stringy poop is typically an indication of internal parasites if I remember my information correctly. Mollies are notorious for those apparently. I don't know if they can be transmitted to saltwater fish or not.

If you plan to keep them, I'd verify the diagnosis and treat accordingly.
