That is a purple passion bubble tip nem. It’s purple and has neon green tips. From what I’ve learned about it, it was heavily popular in the reefing scene back in the 2000’s- early 2010’s and then it was like they dropped off the face of the earth and are hard to find, a lot of older reefers still look for this nem, I happened upon mine at a LFS and the only reason they got it was because someone was breaking down their tank of 20plus years. It’s one of my favorite nems. One of the pictures I’ve attached is when it decides to have bubbles LOL and the others one is with white lights.

Just documenting my Mixed Bubble Tip Anemone Tank. My tank is a RedSea 350. The tank is currently 2.5 years old. My nems have been together for about a year. And all seems to be going well. As of yet no signs of chemical warfare. I have 19 nems total which include Rainbows, Rose, Black Widow, Green Acid Wash, Sherman Rose, Purple Passion and a Lemon Drop. They are fed daily as I have a paired Wild Caught Australian Gold Band Maroon and Frostbite Ocellaris Clownfish. (They have been paired for years) they are target fed Willows Coral Fest and Fuel for Corals by Aquavitro 2-3 times a week. They also eat the particles of food that are fed to the fish as well. The lights are 2 AI Primes and 1 AI Hydra 52. I do a water change of 30 percent weekly. I call it my Ocean Rainbow. I am currently working on a 180 gal upgrade. I will document my nem tank journey.

Looks like it has split well for you. I'd love to put together a trade for one. Can I shoot you a DM?

Sure, you can send me a DM. BTW your tank is beautiful.
but wait…….
You can’t mix nems

I love seeing it!
Awesome will do!

I'm quite impressed that you haven't run into any warfare. I have to keep 2 reactors of fresh carbon going 24/7 or my Sherman gets all fussy and start bombing the WWC rainbows.

Sorry it didn’t work out for you. Thanks, so far so good. I’m hoping that things continue well. I keep getting splits so it’s a blessing and a curse. LOL
OMG My RBTA just split yesterday! They are so sneaky about it. One minute, your like wow my RBTA is looking really big today and the next day your like shoot, what happened… oh… there’s two now.

Okay sounds great!

So far they all touch and have no issues, they will expel their water from time to time but I feed them pretty heavily so they may not be in the mood to fight LOL. I do run carbon as well because not going to take any chances.
what kind of nems do you have in your tank?

I always thought splitting was not always a good sign
Non stress related splitting is generally an indicator of good health.

The first time I didn't notice. One morning I found one peaking out behind the rock. Now I have three. This time I saw more of it, not the split but the aftermath. That was yesterday, they were all small and shriveled. Part of me was worried what if one doesn’t make it. I had a water change and an ammonia badge ready. Then today, they are about 80% full again. They split in half yesterday? That's crazy.
I am going to have to start sell/trading these, because soon (well in about six months) I will have eight!

Just keep an eye on them. Splitting can either be a good thing or a last ditch effort at survival.

Naw, These guys are all good. They never have moved from their rock since I put them in there, they are always full, and have a couple of clowns doing their clown thing. I believe 4-6 months is a good healthy split time.
Or so I believe...

Mine split when I changed my lighting intensity. 3 turned into 7. Smallest is about 7" right now, largest about 13".

Mine are about grapefruit size and seem to stay about there. Both are offspring from a neighbor that came from the same mother. I got them about 3-4 months apart. the one that just split is the older one and this was its first split. There color is a deeper red with more of an orange center but not as intense as a Chicago fire or sunburst. My LFS has a bunch that are a bit more pinkish.
If I remember I try to take some pics tomorrow
