Here’s a sort of okay shot of my mandarin. Had to photoshop the crap out of it. Hard to capture this morning with no tank lights on. I’ve had him for a few months, so I think he’s doing okay. I still give him some nutramar ova a couple times a week to be sure he’s getting enough food. He largely gets lost in my tank, still really small. I’d highly suggest getting a biota captive bred one, they are small but hardy.

This guy was looking crazy tonight, had to take a pic. The tips just keep getting bluer. This pic isn’t even that accurate, it’s way better in person. Love the spot of hair algae on an old dead branch. Believe it or not I thought this coral was going to die last year when I was dipping it for flat worms. But it totally pulled through!

I’ve been getting some good growth on this guy the last few months. (You can sort of tell my bad flow, as most of the branches are on one side. Hopefully I’ll get that straightened out soon.)

Blue-lined rabbitfish eating sea lettuce. It grows on my mangroves and in the refugium. My rabbitfish loves it.

Here’s a small deep water acro. Slow grower right now. Didn’t adjust the white balance right, the tips are more bright yellow. I think I got this little guy from aquavista99. I’ve got another frag I’m going to grow out in a different spot, see if it likes it better. I love the skin detail on this pic.

Here’s a close up of my large purple and green bowerbanki. I think it’s from Australia. I don’t see this pattern for sale much. I’ve had this guy for at least two years. I think it actually looked a little better under my old Kessil, but still great.

Yes, my memory is that they were much quieter. The gen4 fans are louder than the gen3. When I first upgraded I was like 'whoa, that's not an improvement'. I like the light of the gen4 radions though. I also had a ton of trouble with the AP700 software. While I think the light was a good light, the software sucked! I could never get it connected to my wifi correctly. (I have a mesh network, and every node showed up individually, couldn't connect to any of them no matter what. Support could not help. Never tried the latest firmware.) No apex control, and I'm a bit neptune guy. It would always need re-configured after power outages, I would notice the time on the light being off and it turning itself on at midnight. It actually died during a firmware update and I had to get it replaced. I had kept hoping that the newer firmware would make it better, but when it died I had them replace it, then sold it off and switched to all radions. I do like kessil, but I think they need to hire some better programmers. (Kessil, if you're reading this, I am a programmer IRL, and I would help you!!)

I’m having a bit of anxiety today. I moved 50 frags from my display to my downstairs frag tank. The frag tank runs T5 and Halide, and I’m worried about them adjusting. I wanted to get rid of all but 1 frag rack on the display, so I kept the best colored and moved the others to the frag tank in hopes of improvement. Wish me luck! Here are the best ones I kept. I’m doing new flow and some minor aquascaping changes to make room for these.
