We are super excited for the upcoming 2017 reef keeping year. We are working hard to build the club and bring in new content that gets everyone involved excited about the future. We are diligently working to bring in top informative speakers in the field and educational workshops that will make you not want to miss a second of the upcoming years content.

Mike Paletta will be presenting his popular presentation entitles Common Sense and Controversies in Reef Keeping. Mike needs no introduction as I imagine that you have not been living under a rock for the last 30 years of reef keeping. Doors open January 21st at 5:00pm and the presentation is from 5:30 - 7:00. Mike also assured me that he would be more than willing to answer your questions and go to dinner with us after the meeting. I am sure I will see you all there.

You could come to the December meeting if January doesn't work for you. November is an option as well, I think your Misses would like to come since it's closer to you being at Greg Swiechs house in Irwin.

So who else is getting excited for the coming year? Mike Paletta in January, Todd Gardner in March, AWESOME fragging workshop in April. Thinking about John Kovacs : Tank Photography in February.

Yes please! I was literally just messing with my camera and once again gave up trying to figure it out lol.

I will give John a call and try to work that out since I believe that is the last open date before he leaves town. That is unless Carrie books Joe Yaiullo for February but I was hoping to get him a bit later in the year. I think that I might take a month and do a discussion of reef hitch hikers and pests.

Sure. Is she close? Can she stay at your house while in town?

Not that I personally really want to do a presentation. Its just that after a member posted pictures of his new mojano that he got on his new frag at the last meeting and had to come on here asking what it was I thought that it might be a topic that we want to touch on again.

I was thinking maybe we should do one about starting up tanks since we have had some new people at the last few meetings. I'm sure many of us wouldn't be super enthused about that, but a refresher is always nice. Plus it might help bring some newbies in
