My tank was shooting microbubbles and I’m assuming it’s due to the fact that the water level was creating a huge waterfall effect between the middle two chambers of my AIO. However when I raise the water level it appears that it’s far too high for my filter cup etc, although it seems on the high side anyway, I was under the impression the water should be flowing into the cup? Pretty new so not sure if this makes sense but any help would be great!!

This photo shows how the back is set up (pumps off so filter cup is up off where it normally would be). I don’t have a skimmer just two pumps in the return chamber

This was how high the water level was yesterday, no micro bubbles or waterfall effect but not flowing into skimmer cup, just took some water out today and still not really flowing into skimmer cup and the waterfall effect is back plus micro bubbles!

This is how it’s looking with water level lowered

pfweee…. for a second I thought the “micro bubbles” were back mysteriously cleaning tanks again…

Glad to see this is just another run o mill issue in the current dimension …

Weird the water isn’t entering the cup
Curious that the floss isn’t trapping the bubbles…
I can’t even picture how that is possible …
Following and curious

I’ve added a few more photos that might be helpful! The bubbles are definitely being generated after the floss I think but honestly no clue, only been in the hobby for a few months and this is my upgrade from a fluval evo! Edit: This is also what the display is looking like after lowering water level but still the water isn’t really flowing through the cup and seems too high - but still very low in the other chambers

Bumping this - not sure if thread title is right for what I’m asking - basically can’t get the water level at a point where it falls from the display into the filter cup
