Melting coral chalice

Has anyone seen a chalice melt like this? Every thing is doing great in my tank. Including the Raja Rampage pictured. I have never seen this before it's like it melted a mouth off. It happened today.

No but pretty wild. I’d leave it alone as long as the tissue isn’t receding and or expose skeleton

Looks like growth to me just in a bizarre pattern. Super neat!
