May 2019 Meeting

Hey everyone!

First, sorry for slacking and only posting this a little more than a month before the meeting.

Next, our upcoming meeting - the last before our summer break - is coming up next Sunday May 5th, from 6-8pm at @Rick Mathew place. For the address, either message me, @Rick Mathew or (if you have followed the sticky in the ORC forum) check the ORC Private Forum for the address.

Rick will be talking about testing, including a self-pioneered method for using a Hanna checker for nitrates that he developed (since Hanna doesn't currently make one).

As always, there is no cost to join the club or participate in our meetings. We only ask that you come with an open mind and friendly attitude.

A big thank you to @Rick Mathew for having us over last night, as well as to those who traveled in yesterday's weather. It was great checking out Rick's tank and seeing his testing station. Rick also took the time to demonstrate his procedure for using the Hanna ULR Nitrite checker with the Red Sea Nitrate test.

@Hanna Instruments you guys should consider making Rick a rep or giving him a sponsorship. His protocols and knowledge of your equipment is outstanding.

This looks awesome! I really hate that I missed it. We had an impromptu trip to Orlando. Looks like the group learned a lot. @Rick Mathew i’ll pm you with my questions if you don’t mind.
