I just purchased a couple of the maxspect jump led lights. Does anyone have much experience using them? I’m just using the default softie settings. Are the defaults sufficient?

I have 4 of these lights and like them. The settings will depend on you corals, your tank size, and depth. Mine have been set and forget. I rented a par meter from the lfs to get the adjustments correct

But just starting off the default selections they offer are the sufficient. Right now just couple corals fish and anemone plan on soon getting some more corals and a par meter. I think my tank is around 14-16 inch deep and 6’ long. Do you recommend starting the highest

I love mine! I found a bunch of presets they post on their facebook page. They use QR codes and you can scan them in. I've made some personal adjustments over time to my schedules. I run my max settings at about 75% over a IM 14 peninsula. I think its about 12 inches of depth with the light 8-10 inches above the surface.
