Got my Razor today. Fast free FedEx shipping. Now each of my tanks has arguably one of the best lights on the market. View attachment 2836329
Waiting patiently for my 300w.
Prob going to ramp it up over a month.
Real interested to see how much if any pH bump I get during the photo period..

I've had a 200w for a few years. Really dope light. I run a: 75% b: 95% c: 95% d: 10% at peak on my 29g mixed. Still might ramp up channel D a bit more but slow goes it at this point. Highly recommend this light.

Looks great. I will be using the 200 wt over a 50 breeder.

I can tell you from experience, Channel D increases algae growth. I’d go little by little. Looks great!

That's why I've kept it so low or non existent. It always seemed like every time I started turning D up I would get algae growth so I stopped using it for the longest time. I just started ramping it up 1% at a time about once every few weeks a while back. Just made it to 10% after a few months of this. Been ramping it up so slowly that the reef wouldn't notice it. I'm sneaking the spectrum in on them very very gradually lol. I haven't seen the algae yet this time around. I love the way the channel fleshes out the color and brings out a more natural color scheme or I wouldn't even worry about it. Going full spectrum baby

I just started this Razor on my new tank out at 30% I’ll test par tomorrow and make adjustments I love the blue/purple hue of the razor. Such an underrated light View attachment 2836512
Always been curious what kind of par they put out. Gotta be pretty good, keeps my sps and Haddoni fat and happy

Awsome, thank you. How far is the light above the surface and how deep is it?

That one is 12 inches deep and whatever height the legs are, maybe 6-8”.
I’ll look for the PAR of my other tank that is deeper. I need to find the picture.

Found it. This one is 18” deep.

And this is only at 85% blues right? Looks like this light is more than capable of pumping some par

Yes, I can bump it up to 100% and take some readings later. It’s a great light. But first we are off to Sea World. ;)
