29" off the floor and 26" inside. It's literally just tall enough to slide out the skimmer lid and access the other components.

I have a recliner and the tank is absolutely perfect for viewing pleasure.

Thank you for your reply .
I ended up going with 40 inch height.

I am nearly done with the frame
I went with 40 as well, here are some ideas for you. I used plywood to strengthen the piece as well.

39.5” tall stand. Cutout is 42” above ground. Lines up with the bottom of the In-wall speaker. Front glass is a bit of a pain to clean from the other side.

Beautiful. Its my dream to one day build a in wall tank. Would love to see behind the tank. Curious to know how it works. Do you have pictures of the tank during the building process?

It’s currently a mess behind but it’s in a unfinished hvac room so I don’t tidy up unfortunately. I posted this a little earlier when someone was asking about sump size.

For me I really didn't want to need a stool to work on the tank, so the top edge is armpit height. Seeing as my tank is 24" tall that left my stand at only around 27-30" (I don't remember exactly) but this was a big driving detail that pushed me to develop out my slide out sump system, because that left no room for anything but equipment. As it is I barely got it all in there!
