Has anyone used the chiller piping accessory pipe unit on the Max E 170 to plumb in a Paxbellum algae reactor? I am trying to keep everything clean as this tank will be going in my entry way. I don't want to do a HOB refugium.

FWIW:

You have to push through 150 - 200 gallons per hour with the N18 to preform right.

Hard to do without a lot of head pressure, since it's built with 1/2" piping.

Can you think of another route for me to go? it doesnt have to be the Paxbellum, I just liked the aesthetics. I guess I should've asked if I could use the chiller piping accessory pipe unit to run any algae reactors.

Yeah,
It took an 525 gallon Eheim pump the get the flow right on my n18.
Then it reduced phosphates more than nitrates??

An AIO can be tough without a sump.

Are you dealing with high phosphates, high nitrates or are both high.

so you're saying go ahead with the N18 but use a larger pump, bigger tubing and route it from the tank to the reactor and then back to the tank? I'm not dealing with them yet, however I will have a bioload and would prefer to have a solution before the problem arises.

The best way might be to buy the Reefdose 4, you could dose Cal, Alk and Mag then use the 4th pump for dosing NoPox.
