just wondering. I'm thinking about removing mine. I don't see the point of it. I have the same tank as you. Your's looks real good
Ya without it the water level is 1.5” to 2 inches from the rim. I can’t see me wanting the level any higher. I don’t see the use of the adjustable weir gate.

I loved the Video update MapleReef, it looks amazing ! I have a few questions ? Are you planing to add any flow/ circulation pumps to the tank? If so what are you thinking of using ? The black egg create in the sump in the fuge section are you planning to use it as a Refugium or a Frag section in your sump?

Yes down the road I plan on using a Ecotech mp40 or two. And the fuge is a work in progress, I would like to grow cheato in it. Or use it as a place for coral with a Kessil a80, that I’ll be installing once I shut down my smaller system.

Cool deal MapleReef, that sounds like a great idea ! I am planning on either another Mp10 on my tank or adding a Mp40.. plus I still want to upgrade my return pump to a M1 like your self or a L1 ..

I finally added my Radion XR15PRO’s G4’s to my light .. so I am excited to see and compare our tanks under different LED choices ;)

Today I added some cheato to the fuge. It’s pretty messy at the moment. Also my ball of cheato came with a hitch hiker! I found a emerald crab in the fuge after a few min. He’s gonna stay in there and not the main display. Also started playing around with mangrove placement. Not happy with how it looks just yet though. Or if I even will keep them in the display. Work in progress.

I kept mine on because at the lowest position the water level was below the trim of my tank. On a rimless you wouldn't notice. I have it about 3/4 down I think.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

So it’s been quite busy here. As a side note I work for a major airline here in Canada and as u can imagine the holiday season is quite hectic!

I hope to be back with a decent update in a few days. Right now I’m working on the control panel for the controllers and also mounted my dosing unit! The tanks doing well and is still very new.

Well till my next update.....
