Ok so bta in. Took longer than I thought to peel it from that mesh, really had a hold of it. Got her in a good place, hopefully. The only thing glued down is the Duncan, so hopefully that's not the desired spot.

Took many shots, not sure which combo of filters or what looks best yet. I think I need to remove one, I have the orphek clip on with both the yellow and orange filters on, I need to compare them both separate. Another day....

So the 2 sexy shrimp I added have not found the first yet, it's not a big tank, how long does it take??

Plus, wow, I'm really disappointed in the flow of the stock pump. You can really see it when feeding, the food doesn't even get sucked into the overflow it's so weak. So I ordered a Sicce pump, should be here next week. I still haven't decided which chamber I want to go with for a media basket, I'll wait until the pump is here and go from there.

I got the sicce 0.5 one. Fits and enough flow for everything. I didn't want an additional wavemaker in this one on account of the bta.

I set this up March 7th?! I haven't touched the foam in there. Hmmm. @rmorris_14



Also for general updates for this one, the only real change has been the sexy shrimp, they have disappeared. I'm assuming the tube anenome finally ate them. I started with 3, was down to 1 for a long time, added one more, now they're both gone. Too expensive to keep adding them. But basically other than adding topoff water and water changes, this tank has been very autopilot.

Finally got around to trying another pump in here, the first one, Sicce 1.0 , was just to tight of a fit that it touched sides and made too much noise. This one is hygger brand and vertical.

Here it is sized next to the stock pump for scale. Definitely smaller than stock. It's DC and came with a nifty controller. More than enough room in the pump chamber. Zero sound so far.

Caught my rfa eating a live hermit crab. My last of the dwarf orange ones. I saw it with the shell in it's mouth and I pulled it hoping it wasn't too late.... But it was.

Hermit was still "attached" to the shell but dead and bleached.
