So I'm in the process of redoing my sump. I've got my light, I'm about to remove the bio balls, and I am putting in sand this evening. Where would a good place to pick up some cheap macro?

Most hobbyists will trim their macro and you can pick some from them. Look at your local clubs and selling sections of the forums.
Good luck!

I don't run a refugium but I know Aquatic Marine in N. Knoxville has cheatomorpha.
