That's awesome! Great little article!

How are those two frags from the colony that RTN'd? Are they going strong?
Thanks!
unfortunately I didn’t glue the frags down so I lost one behind the rocks and the other is on the sand. need to pick up some glue.

This is a truely awesome tank! Maybe the most jampacked SPS nano I’ve ever seen. Kudos for being able to pull this off in a smaller system, this is not easy. Also great photos, how are you taking them?

I have a 2 month old Cade 500 which is 38g so this is great inspiration for what I can do with it.

If you have time one of these days I’m sure a lot of us would be interested in a build summary of all your equipment, livestock, and maintence routines. I certainly would!

I’ve updated the first post with all the details on the tank. equipment, livestock, parameters, maintenance etc,

Bummer man, sorry to hear that. Win some, you lose some.

Do you do the Glue/Epoxy sandwich? I've had great success with that!

No but I should try that. I use the brs super glue gel. The issue is when I’m cleaning the glass I knock stuff over. What epoxy do you use. How do you create the sandwich?

How do your other corals fair with the anemone right next to them? Had any problems with it moving/stinging? I'm looking to get one for my tank.

Thanks!
They don’t. They get constantly burned and die off. My setosa is smothered right now. here is a pic of the coral behind the nem.
My nems split about 2-4 times per year

This is the one thing that dissuades me from owning a nice bubbletip or something. I dont want to wake up one day and find it moved into my favorite group of now-white acropora. I would lose my mind.

The one good thing, in two years and about 7-8 splits only one took a walk around the tank and ended up back in the same spot.

in my planning for my upgrade I will probably do a carpet island or none at all.

If they have a good place to spread out by themselves, they have no reason to move. I just don't have a spot in my tank that I think they'll like and stay there and I have too much else at stake. hehe I love them, I just don't think I should go there.

I think I may need to reconsider my flow as I’m seeing some STN on a few of the sps. I trimmed back the green slimmer to open up the middle more and moved my Victoria secret to the bottom right. Also moved my mp10s to try and get more flow.

Will take pic’s tomorrow

I’m hoping it’s only flow and not something else.

Congratulations! Well deserved. As I said before, you have one of my favorite Biocubes I have seen! Other biocube owners should be taking notes!

Something is spawning in the tank. It’s either the mini brittle stars or bristle worms

Do you have Stomatella snails in there? Could possibly be from them to. I've had them do this in a couple of tanks I've had in the past. Luckily, no harm was done.

Tank has really slowed down on alk consumption. I’ve gone from 25 ml to 8 ml per day. Still dosing the same amount of kalk at 1300 ml.

Something is going on for sure. Hoping it’s not pests. I’ve had my hands in it to move some corals around.

Have you noticed any change in polyp extension from any corals?
