Git a real test kit for ALK, API are good and less then $10.00, but what that does that have to do with your Ca problem? Why don't you go to some of the chem forums on other reef sites and do some reading? Here is one with all you could ask for and then some.

using bottle # 1 to raise the Calcium ? Bottle #1 is for buffer/ alkalinity only. If you are using bottle # 1 it gives almost no calcium addition. So, when you use bottle #1 you are raising the alk so high it is taken the calcium out of the water and why you are not getting it to go above 380. If you are raising the Calcium only use only bottle # 2.

You are just talking in circles, add JUST CA to get your CA to the level you want, Add Alk to get it where you want, Add Mg to get it where you want. You do not have to add all 3 or 2 just because you are adding 1 of them. Can I make it any simpler?????????? You only add the one's you need when you need to. End of the lesson.

Look at your first 3 sentences, they seem to contradict each other, usually bottle "A" #1 is Ca bottle "B" #2 is Alk.

YOu would only use the same amounts of each in a perfect world, is your aquarium Ak and Ca in perfect harmony? Add the calculator amount of the Ca portion in the amount that is stated for your product. The calculator does not tell you if you add this, you have to add the same amount of that, does it???????????????????????
