Its neither. Lots of the frags we photograph a day or two after they're cut. When we cut we use glue accelerator to make sure the glue holds.
Its a chemical burn to the flesh that I can guarantee wont be there by the time these corals ship.
If we have even a thought that a coral wont make it at the time of packing, we replace or sub it out after calling the customer.
Its nice to see concerned hobbyists looking out for their peeps though. We appreciate questions/ critique like this
