I have finally got my tank back up and running. I cooked and bleached all my rock and am starting pretty much from scratch. It is cycled with live sand and some rock from my sump but has zero coralline on it. I need to borrow or buy a really nice piece of live rock with lots of coralline to get things started.

Thanks,
Travis

Travis, I'd totally let you have one of my pieces of live rock but it's covered in caulerpa right now. You totally wouldn't want it. I'm sure someone else can get you a piece though.

Just go get the snails with the most coraline on their shells. Two purposes serves. Probably gonna buy them anyways and they areobile spreaders! Then add a calcium supplement or Purple up,(Now 5 people will respond talking about phosphate increase from purple up) and you are off to the races my friend!

Thanks Mel, that is exactly what I am trying to avoid this time around. I had some bacteria problem from when I originally set up my tank I felt was lingering so I nuked my rock.

Good call Matt. I have some hermits that have some on them I will put in there soon. I am really looking for a piece with a lot of diversity and color as well though.
