The battle with GHA is turning toward victory. The last coral to be cleaned is a small section of yellow polyps. What’s the best method? Is there a risk of poisoning the tank if I’m too aggressive with it. Sorry if these are rookie questions.

Not aiptasias, yellow polyps. A container with salt water, scrub algae off with toothbrush, rinse with clean salt water, then back in the tank. Find out why the GHA? High nitrates? High phosphates?

Thanks! Tanks about 5 months old and nitrates and phosphates shot up and here came the GHA. Had a refugium setup fail so I have a skimmer coming. Also got a decent cuc now.
