I found some new for an ok price but does anyone have an extra or not being used anymore? Imean just tired of buying someone else's water every 2 weeks...

Whatever unit you end up with make sure it has a TDS meter on at least the output. Bulk Reef Supply has good units also but for value/quality I don't think you can beat Spectrapure refurbs.:)

We recommend that at a minimum, a TDS meter and pressure gauge are the two "tools" needed to run the systems.

Personaly, I have a pressure gauge on mine, but i use a pen style tds meter. This allows me to check at multipule times through out the water process, as well as check other tds around the house like my brute can that I store my water in... and other things... have you seen the TDS of Mnt Dew.? Dont look.
