Just ordered a longnose butterfly and wondering if they are as picky as copperbands? Seems like no, from what I've read. Have a cbb now for 3 years and had worms ready but wondering if longnose will usually take to mysis and clam quickly and if worms are necessary this time? Also anyone had bad experience w/ longnose and BTA? I have a giant maroon female and male I'm hoping will keep it at bay.

I've had and worked with plenty of them. If you get them in that 2.5 to 3.5 inch range, you're golden. If for whatever reason they refuse to eat in the first few days, go for clams on the half or live mussels.
Perfect. Supposed to be as big as 4". Wondering do they eat aiptasia readily? I have another tank full just for my cbb cause he likes them so much.

That’s ok that means my nems are probably safe then
Mine doesn't touch my magnifica. Only things I've ever seen him pick at was a red acanthophyllia and he actually stuck his snout into the gill opening of a giant clam a few times.
