The male is definitely more interested in it than the female.
Yes, the male was around it yesterday. The female hosted my Duncan today.

I have them 3 years, and they never looked at 6 different anemones. Since introducing the Green one, they both started to have instinct. The male went to the Green Carpet, and the female went tot the Duncan coral.

Now, 48 hour later... it seems the female gave up on the Duncan.

No other anemone ever got this attention

I got them as a rescue. I like the originals more... but, we got them.. so lets make them happy.

Yeah the second live stream is on a Duncan coral.
The female Occi is in doubt what to do I think. During the day she still looks at this Duncan, but is also protecting the Carpet...

While watching this... things starting to notice me.

I don't think I got 2 of the same Anemone.
The green one has spots on it's underside... the red has not.

Haddoni, Gigantea?

So... lets asume the Red one is a Haddoni and the Green one is a Gigantea.

It strikes me that my Ocellaris never noticed any Anemone... but now go crazy since introducing a Gigantea.

They are clearly confused. At least the female is.

The male is for the first time noticing the Green Gigantea. He is starting to try and be resistant by licking the Anemone. Het is on the right path.

The Female is in panic. She suddenly thinks my year old Duncan is something to host. But on the other hand she want's to defend the Green Gigantea. 50/50 she is in the Duncan or the Gigantea.

I just don't understand this whole process.

Why does this green Gigantea suddenly trigger this?
How does this instinct trigger work?
Why is my Female confused at a Duncan coral she knows for a year?
Why the Duncan since the Gigantea obviously triggered the whole interest?

The new Gigantea triggered a whole lot of behaviour I am yet starting to learn about. The camera's help.
