Going through my phones gallery, I noticed that I have built quite a few stands
Thought it would be nice to see what other people have been building lately for some future project inspiration! Here's a few I've completed (most of them for others)

What length is that stand? What size tank? Im about to build one for my new 120 5ft long tank and was trying to avoid 2x6 for top and bottom frame.

This is my overbuilt 60 cube stand. I wanted more under cabinet room than a 24" space would allow, so I made the cabinet just under 48" wide with the top slab being slightly wider. The cabinet lights caused the doors to look purple, but they are actually a pale blue plexi. I sort of like the ability to look through the plexi, but I am considering sanding them to a frosted look since the cabinet area has become less tidy over time. It's impossible to tell from the photo but the top is stained a deep ocean blue color and I mistakenly used some polyurethane from an old project that had glitter in it so the slab sparkles in the sunlight

If I can make one suggestion to anyone building a stand it would be to add extra doors or access panels. I wavered between adding doors to the sides and ultimately did not....until 3 months later when I decided that I needed them and made a huge mess adding doors of the same style to each end of the stand while the tank was running.

Also, I've seen some threads where people have built their stand around the sump which I think is just asking for trouble. At some point you may need to remove whatever you put in the cabinet so make sure that it will fit through the doors and that you have sufficient space around the cabinet to actually remove something like the sump should it fair or require maintenance.

I like the floating canopy, I may have to try that in the future sometime. Any issues with mold/moisture buildup in it?

+1 for more access panels... My low stand is so tight that it takes me about 5min to get the protein skimmer out -_-

No, I made it completely open. I was embarrassed to show the next picture(because it’s dusty “up there”), but this will make more sense. Cue the dust bunny patrol haha

This has been a long building process. Not from lack of time, but the location for all my pieces and parts to raise my hood. I like symmetry and things need to look thought out. I decided awhile back I would be suspending my canopy BUT I wanted it to easily move as well for working in the tank...

Started with this pile of Cherry from a local lumber yard
