I have had two now. The larger is my old one that I trimmed so much. The small is my current as I lost my large one in a tank move.
Old one was in a 210g tank and was huge by the end. The little one is in a 6g and soon to be trimmed so I will get on in my 210g again.

Wow! That incredibly long tentacled one in the second picture is amazing. Do you remember where it came from? I have been looking for something like that for a while. (I mean the one on the bottom of the picture)

are you talking about the toadstools?

Sorry, yes. The one on the bottom in this picture. I assume it is a toadstool:

Ya it is a toad stool, they are both long-ish polyps.

Honestly that one came from a local college biology/reef tank they have.

I think it was shorter when I got it (was smaller then too ofc). It is getting hit with a good amount of flow so idk if its getting longer because it's bigger or maybe environmental/flow.

My more unique finds have always been from 15-20 yr old tanks from random people or places.
I was hoping to hear it came from Bob's Coral Mart with free shipping, lol.

Another great one! Same question- do you remember where you got that?
I know everyone sells little "long tentacle" toadstool frags, but without a picture of a large one like this, I don't really trust them.
