That green looks like it’s replicating the Milky Seas Phenomenon! Love the deep blue/black in the middle of all that tealOk, I'll play along. ;-)
Here are two new additions courtesy of Vivid Aquariums. Absolutely stunning, great size (approx. 5"), a fair price, and great service! I'll definitely be a repeat customer. Amazing how the viewing angle changes the color!

I’d love to see those black and white Maximas now! must be gigantic by nowLets see some ultra clams, colored up Squamosa's, colored teardrop Maxima's, black and white Maxima's, blue Derasa's, and what some call Maxea's but what I call brightly colored up Croceas...
Here are a few of mine that I have had in the past and some that I still have.
One of my current black and white Maxima's, 2".
My second current 2" black and white Maxima, 2".
My current 4" blue spot Squamosa.
Top down
My current 3" blue teardrop Maxima.
A better pic of the blue teardrop.
My current 5" blue Derasa and 6" Squamosa I just lost.
And a better pic of the blue Derasa.
These are all the rare clams that I currently have, I will add more pic's of rare clams that I have had in the past soon.
You can adapt most corals to the clan’s PAR.This is my maxima I’ve been planning on placing acans around it but someone suggested there par requirements are to far off. Can anyone suggest coral to place around clams that will thrive without harming my clam?View attachment 3053432
Be really careful here - firstly, these guys need to be on rocks, not sand. Secondly, they need so much light the LPS they’re next to would melt. The’ll slowly starve to death if you don’t get their PAR up to 350+. Most corals can adapt to this light also, but LPS and some zoos usually can’t.Ok, I'll play along. ;-)

Maxima’s can be on the sand however we say keep them on the rocks as the sand generally won’t get 300+PAR and is usually around 50-100PAR.Be really careful here - firstly, these guys need to be on rocks, not sand. You have a gorgeous clam collection! Are they a mix of Maxima and Crocea?Part of my clam garden! I have 15 in total. The addiction is real.

The big maxima lost a lot of color due to being overgrown in my sump, he’s recently been moved into the display.

Zoas and most LPS can adapt to 350+ PAR, in the wild quite a few LPS and softies (like Zoas) are found quite far up and as I said previously some are found burning in the sun due to low tide (especially during a Neap Tide).

Has the clam on the far right bore into the rockscape? if so,.... how you do that? did you just leave it there and with patience it just eventually bore into the rock? that is too cool! I never see clams in the aquarium boring into our rocks!Part of my clam garden! I have 15 in total. The addiction is real.

Thanks, no I got it like that! I also haven’t seen them bore, I think they have to do it from when they’re very small. Although I have seen them dissolve each others shells if they’re touching…Has the clam on the far right bore into the rockscape? if so,.... how you do that? did you just leave it there and with patience it just eventually bore into the rock? that is too cool! Yeah, I love the variations within T. noae, especially when they don't have any teardrops, but when they're loaded with them, it's just stunning. That collection of noae's for sale on corals.com was insane and probably one the best deals on clams that I've seen in a long time. I kick myself for not grabbing one. @OrionN grabbed some nice ones, the blue being one of them.First time I’ve ever seen a blue noae, beautiful! And amazing maxima @minus9. I like my clams waaay more than my fish. I have an exceptional color morph queen angel but she’s going to have to go soon, nipping at the clams too much!
