I started a fluconazole treatment on Wednesday. I used 15 caps of reef Flux, so a little more than the recommended dose. Hopefully by this time next week I'll be bryopsis free for good.
I have noticed that my tiger sand conch ate it off of the maze brain that I placed in the sand, as well as my utter chaos plug. And it definitely does seem like there is very little growing on the bottom inch or two. He seems to do a pretty good job of keeping it down. I think some of the turbo snails are helping with the back glass too, there are a few clean patches now.
I don't think the new sinularia is doing very well, it looks shriveled and sorta brown to me but maybe it just needs a little more time to settle in.
My new rainbow acan that I just got is doing good. The older one, still not so much. I have no idea what's going on with it since all 10 of my other acans look great? Maybe I should dip it?
I have a few corals coming in from Legendary Corals next week that I'm pretty excited for. But after that I think I'm done with corals for a while. I need to save money.

Good looking scape!
Thanks!

My bryopsis is totally gone, after 1 week of treatment. There's a few very small patched of hair algae but I'm not worried about it at all. I'm still running my skimmer without the cup but going to put it back on tonight.
I got a coral for the Legendary Corals grow out contest that I organized. LC Petroglyphs to participate in the contest. And a Weeping Willow toadstool which I'm so excited about! I can't wait to see it open!

Unfortunately I think these will be my last corals for a while. It is going to take a lot of willpower, but I really need to save some money.

I did purchase a camera to take better aquarium pictures, so you can be sure I'll be posting again once it arrives. :)

Always, My back glass has it too. Fortunately that is the only place it grows. Was thinking about a lawnmower Blenny but right now no more fish until I see what happens with my Mimic.

I have a flametail blenny and 2 rainsford gobies coming out of qt in a few days, they are small but the blenny especially might help.

I have a Canon T3i but no macro lens for it. I use my large zoom and I can get semi close but focal length is still 1.5M which still doesn't get me as close as yours. I get some decent pics with my Pixel though

I used extension tubes for the really close up shots. But a lot of my corals are too far back in the tank to get good pictures.
