you can, but we don't recommend that, you'll have to dilute the powder with RODI water and it will not last for a long time. We recommend using Redsea, Colombo, Tropic or Fauna Marin insteadAre we able to use Salifert Phosphate test? I saw it in the app as an option (beta)
Hello,I started using Fauna Marin PO4 problem is the C bottle is only 6ml and machine will not pick it up Suggestions
This usually indicates a clogged syringe, can you please check that? Why do my color results come back like this?
Problem is you need to buy the whole refill kit just to get that one bottleHello,
Unfortunately, you'll need more than one bottle to fill the vial, but not a lot of this reagent is used in the test meaning it'll last for a while.
Just like all test kits. With the exception, I have found the individual bottles on Amazon for the Fauna Marin NO2/3.Problem is you need to buy the whole refill kit just to get that one bottle
I agree with this. If the app could provide a total tank water used per day it be be much easier to maintain the salinity. According to the chart, most test use 100ml of tank water per test.Would it be possible to record how much tank water it uses per test and RO (RO bit easier to monitor as you can see the remaining but love to see how much tank water uses per test
This is awesome! How does it compare to the Tropic Marin Pro kit in terms of accuracy.Just like all test kits. With the exception, I have found the individual bottles on Amazon for the Fauna Marin NO2/3.
I use FM for NO2/3 (3 bottles)
Red Sea Pro for PO4 (only 2 bottles)
Salifert for Mag (2 bottles of liquid)
API for Cal (2 bottles)
Red Sea Pro for Alk (1 bottle)
That is until I can finish helping getting Hady the data points he needs for the ABC reagents. I have devised how to use them manually to test and get the proper color changes so I can provide how much water, A,B , or C was needed versus a manual test with similar products to get readings. I'm just trying to get more data points right now at different readings to help.
