Long Island ny, thanks I appreciate it a lot. What’s your name? Tom
They are 100% family dogs, great temperament, Mine will guard the fence line and walk the house every hour, then go lay back down. We dont have to leash them most the time because they stay right with us regardless, we have never since we have had then had either run off after something or someone. if someone gets to close the will get in front of us and sit to protect us. a funny story.. The female LOVES Halloween, she loves to see the kids, ive lived in my house for 4 years the first 2 she kept trying to follow a group of little kids down the street that came to the door, now they take her with them and she just follows them around the street, if someone doesn't look right she veers the kids away by nudging them.

My nephews will play with them in the front yard and when someone comes to close or dosent look just right they will nudge the kids behind then stand b/t them and the person in full protection mode.
Wow that’s really cool! Funny thing my female bull mastiff would do the same thing sit right in front of my wife or kid if she did not feel comfortable. Lol Wish I could rescue but I know my bulldog would not accept a full grown dog he is a male!! My only hope would be bringing a female pup home!! And introduce them outside! Just finding a good breeder relatively local is not proving easy!!! Anytips would be a appreciated! Thanks Tom
The cane corso is a male. The dogo argentino is a female. The corso is on the smaller side for the breed at about 105lbs. Really laid back. Doesn’t bark. The dogo is a female about 110lbs. She is a big baby with me and out in public but protects the house and doesn’t like visitors. I had a male American Bulldog for 13 years. The dogo and corso are much more stable with there temperaments.

We brought Moose to lake over the weekend. Nothing new being around water for him. We go to river and hike quite a bit. This time he decided to get courage to swim:)
Funniest thing though. He decided to climb up on rock with mama. All good until it was time to get down I had to rescue him haha. He had no shame and just put his legs on my shoulder when I got to him. Had to be hilarious to see big dog crying on rock needing to get rescued haha.
Moms getting him life jacket i guess lol

Anarchy and mayhem. The smaller one is Anarchy the father and the bigger one smiling is Mayhem. Sadly we had to put Mayhem down he was so attached to my wife every time I would get close too her he would go after me and bite. We were afraid he would do the same to one of our kids. It was tuff because had him since he was born. My wife was so upset but he was really hard to control.

Counter cruising isn’t good .
cali has been there for awhile , but knows the counters , tables are off limits .

she’s pretty well behaved when it comes to food . Her food is in her bowl ? Ours goes on the table .

she doesn’t beg , steal food

Oh believe me I know, it's no bueno! My first Newf, cost me a lovely marinated steak one eve when I left the room to light the Q for maybe 10 seconds. She was in the room next door, by the time I got back inside she was back in there as I followed the blood trail from kitchen. Steak nowhere to be found. I have never seen a large piece of meat swallowed so fast . Must have almost swallowed it whole! 20-25 seconds in total. Unreal.... Lesson learned there... she's trying occasionally over the last few days but gets the stern OFF when caught head above counter. Sit, lie down, treat. She's learning gradually

I had a dog a few years ago sadly she was ill .
She stole 2 racks of ribs I just brought in from the bbq .
Sat them on the counter for 15 seconds to go to the washroom .
came back and there was no sign of ribs other than the bbq sauce on her paws

Def something you have to consider when they are taller than counter lol.
Moose took a loaf of garlic bread fresh out of oven one night. Didnt eat it just ran around the yard with it like a trophy lol. Crazy thing is he won't eat a treat if you pour the box in his food bowl. He will wait until you say its ok but prefers if you give them to him.
