There are several in a bucket right now. I'll probably just put them in a small tank for my son.looks like a xanthid crab, unforunately not reef safe but what a lil cutie!
They don't seem to be red, but they do seem to be mithracid crabs - so they're at least relatives of the mithrax; they should be basically as reef-safe as true crabs get, but (like emerald crabs) may not be perfectly safe, particularly as they grow.Are the ones pictured red mithrax? If so are they safe for a mixed reef?
