That seems to be the way it goes. Once you got the fever, you got it for life. even in the years where i didnt have a tank, i still spent many a nights browsing looking for one. Once i got out of the Army i decided to jump back in.

Here is a picture of the 55 before my wife re aquascaped and after. OK the last one is after lol. It was a late night to say the least. The fourth picture is the 125 setup progress you'll have to excuse the mess it's amazing the room the tank took up. Pretty sure the house(mainly the dining room) has been a mess ever since. The fifth is the pile of rocks and sixth is the first aqua scape well kinda it's missing the rock for the right side. Well I missed that one. I'll have to get a good picture of the current aquascape. The seventh picture is the stand I built for the 40 gallon breeder for a frag tank. I'm pretty sure it is alittle overkill. If I ever need something to set my f150 on to work on it I have this lol. It's not done by any means. My dream us to finish the one side of the basement and have this as a frag tank down there and have it setup as a fish room. Currently the tank is being used as a hospital tank.
And to add I have made screen tops for the 125 instead of the glass tops. I have the material to fish the screen tops for the 55 but havent found time to finish it. I wired the sump for the 125 and though I was happy with it and then realized I wasn't and then added up the amps I was pulling with it so I added a 6 plug 30 amp dedicated circuit for it. 2 plugs are gfi and 4 are not. I did not want the return pump to get tripped while I wasn't home. Now I don't have to worry about the pulling to much power through one outlet. I'll post more as I think about it lol.

Awesome! That Sicce pump was brand new. I never got to hook it up. You tanks look awesome dude! I cant wait until my Neo 105 gets in. in the mean time, I have been trading around, and I am about to come into possession of a 90g and I am going to set it up and run it as an all SPS system.

Well I didn't know there was a edit time on a post lol. To add to it
I redid the wiring and instead of the wiring zip ties I found that I like the little hardware hooks are awesome for the wiring I just lay the wiring in it that way when I have to replace a heater or clean a powerhead I'm not destroying the pretty bundle of ziptied wires to get one wire. And I'll post pictures of that and more detail pictures of the 125 setup and 55 gallon too.

Ok here is a updated picture of the new aquascape in the first picture and the rest is the sump setup I currently have. First is the massive skimmer(it's a pita to change the filter socks) but oh well. The rest is the wiring and those little hooks I was talking about earlier. The carbon reactor is just hanging out currently I haven't felt the need to yet, but if anyone wants to chime in about the benefits of running it I'll be more than happy to take your advice. The picture with the white power strip is the metal halides the timer and ballast are behind that false wall hanging out the back of the stand to keep things cool. The wall with the 3 power strips are from top to bottom. The first is the reef keeper pc4. It's currently handling the heater and the night lights and power compacts. The second power strip is the power heads and three only was the ato. And the power strip with the timer on it is the "sump" power strip it is the return pump skimmer refugium light and the maxi jet in the refugium camber. I re did it this way because I got sick of either unplugging the powerheads or just turning the main powerstrip off to feed coral. So now I can just turn off the powerheads and feed and I don't have to worry about the reef keeper trying to boil the water in the return camber and the temp probe in the first camber saying it's cold. The sump currently needs cleaned. Also I got a question about the reef keeper. Is it just me or are these things sold just so people can say they have a controller? I have to say I'm not totally impressed with it and I'm glad I didn't buy it new. I don't know if it's just me expecting to much or what. But from what I've researched on the apex is the way to go hands down. One thing is for sure the list of wants keep piling up. So far I want a dosing pump, apex setup, led lights. But there will be more to come I'm sure lol.
