With cee's post I finally decided to post. I've been looking and reading for a while now. But alittle info on me I guess lol. My wife and I have always talked about getting a fish tank of sorts. I always wanted a saltwater tank just because of the beauty that you can create. She went along with it lol. We talked about it for a quite a few years. We did alot of research and talked about it and finally decided to get into the hobby. We bought it for our anniversary present to each other. We found a guy locally that had a 55 gallon with a aquarium with life system sump and bought it. It came with a blue hippo tang, yellow tang, two tomato clowns and a molly miller blenny. Transported the whole setup from knoxville area to our house in kodak. Everyone made it safe and sound and is still alive today. Got rid of the bio balls slowly and converted it to a filter sock and added a skimmer. We quickly realized (well I did) I wanted more. A month later I ended up swap trading a guy for his 125 gallon with a trigger system sump. This one we got to clean, setup and plumb the way I wanted. I though we were going to get this tank cycled and combine the tanks. Then I found out my wife didn't want to she wanted both. I got the 125 cycled and slowly started to add fish. So far we have 6 anthias, 2 gold stripe clowns and a fox face. We did end up moving the yellow tang over from the 55 because he was picking on a clown in there. I enjoy the hobby and have future plans. I'm in the process of joining the ETRC. One thing that messes us up is the monthly meets seems to be on saturdays and starting in April we got our son started in racing dirt track go karts and have raced pretty much every Saturday since then. I'll post pictures of my tanks once I hit the post count. I guess this is my intro post lol.
