I am having issues with high kh mag and cal. I recently switched from Aquaforest reef salt to Fauna Marin Salt. My current vaules are:

Kh 9.5
Mag 1500
Cal 490

Dosing twice weekly AB+ and Fauna Marin Coral dust.

Could it be one of the two are increasing the above?

ReefEnergy AB+ and Fauna Marin Coral Dust - no. Different salt, definitely. Did you test the parameters on the new batch of saltwater before you performed your last water change?
No I haven't. Dont know why its increasing. Kh is always at 9.5-9.6 and mag starts at 1400 and ends up 1500 and cal 450 and ends up 490. Now either my corals are not yet comsuming anything but I have coraline on rocks and my wave makers are all covered

That's from the container, yes? I meant, did you actually test it after mixing it up?

No I never tested the mixture before I do a wc
Sometimes (rare, but if happens) you get a batch of salt where the parameters are off. If you switched salt and your parameters soon changed - that's probably the first place I'd look.

I agree: test the mix. You might actually have salinity higher than you thing, rather than any problem with the batch.

You do replace evaporated water with fresh, right, not seawater?
