Working on a 72 bowfront build. Was going to do black box, but wife liked the AP 700. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if need 2 in order for best coverage and growth eh?

I think you'd be better off with the 360WE or X due to the modularity of the design (can place emitters exactly where you want them). Some have complained about the software in the 700 but I have no experience with it.

Wife hates hates hates pendant style lights, hence why she liked the ap700. Other option was a pair of hydra 32..

Just remembered this thread... updated my lights from 3 A160s(one died a few months ago so I was down to 2) to an AP700. I still have the 36" Aquatic Life T5 fixture also. I'm LOVING the par increase and the color. I run 14 hours total light with an 8 hour peak with T5. Morning and evening is fairly dim first deep ocean blue and peak is the 2nd deep blue and 20% reds with T5 for 8 hours. My corals are loving the new light.

Hi new to this thread. We have just started with a 6 foot tank. New to hobby and hope to have sps corals in 6 months. Currently have two 370 and one 160 in the middle. Currently having a few algae issue due to high phosphate and nitrates. Just wondering what program levels I should have going.

We just have the spectral controller. I think I can only adjust the intensity and the color by percentage. I’m able to adjust times just wondering for how long and what percentages people run theirs on.

I like the aquascape - A lot of contrast and hidden depth. Lots of places for fish to hide. Any non gif / animated images? I would love to see more. Great job.
This is a shot from below when it was about three months old
