Kessil A500x broken 2 months after warranty expired

I swear I have no luck in this hobby. I know they say its expensive but dang.
My kessil a500x 1 of 2 just broke for some unknown reason 1.5 months out of warranty . Not only that the month before vectra return pump failed for unknown reasons! And before that my redsea reefwave wave pump.

Is this the way it is? You buy supposedly good expensive equipment and they just fail within 2 years. I know its an expensive hobby but dang its just a money pit

If you bought it with a credit card they may have an extended warranty perk. I know my chase visa extends my warranty on all electronics i purchase by one year.

Have you called Kessil? They are very responsive and might budge on six weeks. They also might be able to repair it for a modest fee. Nothing lasts forever anymore

Have you checked to make sure it isn't the power block. Swap them and see. I actually thought the US warranty on these was two years not one. The older 360we's were notorious for not lasting very long; hadn't heard similar for the X series.

Just a thought……Do you have a surge protector on your equipment? having all those electronics fail early, look into a whole house surge protector installed on your main panel or one installed on your tank equipment. May be getting surge or brownouts causing your early failures.
