Kenya Tree Biofilm?

My KT has been somewhat closed for the past couple of days and has been covered in what looks like a biofilm of some sort, all of the other coral in the tank seem healthy; from what I've read this is normal and could either be to shed algae or to reproduce, just to be safe im wondering if i can get any confirmation on why its doing this? Thank you.

acting weird seems to be pretty normal for Kenya trees. They can go through phases and can also "shed" a waxy exterior layer. . . I wouldn't be worried too much.

That said, tank looks very new so make sure your water is on point. . . though the Kenya tree should survive regardless haha!!!
