Discontinued? If it’s from BRS, they look like they “discontinued” most stuff from coralvue, and they still make it, just BRS maybe decided not to sell it anymore?
Yeah, not sure. Just do a google search and try to find a legit US company to order from. Nobody is selling them anymore that I can see.

Yeah, I guess we’re kinda screwed in the US for these. I’m sure somebody here can order it, but it’s probably easier to just order from China and wait the two weeks. Mine already shipped so we’ll see how long it takes.

I wouldn’t be so hasty just yet. BRS just burned stuff to the ground, and coralvue may need to step up distribution. You can still buy the doser itself, so it makes no sense to not discontinue the doser along with the replacement head if true.

What am I missing? I have never used the grease. I replace the tube every 6 months, their cheap. No squeaking or issues in almost 2 years now.
I have an extra unit if my main one fails but so far so good.

Not ideal. Keeping it lubed extends the life of the tubing. How many mL/minute are you running at?

See if you can find the replacement head in US. Send us a link.

So I ordered the replacement Head on 06/09.

I got an email today 06/13 0730 saying it shipped (4 days later).

Estimated delivery date is 06/26.

Total time will be about 17 days it receive it if that’s correct. Little more than 2 weeks. Not too bad considering it’s coming from China.

Thanks! I appreciate the response as I must have overlooked that when I first installed it around 2 years ago. I will get some ordered.

I have o ring grease and will test that until the other arrives.
I ran 40-60mlm on my 120 and 80.
My new ext 170 is only running 2mlm which equals 24 dpm, lol. With 24 bpm im getting 20dkh effluent out of my geo 818 with bones and holding an alk of 7.5 which is my target.
Tanks new and only 8 weeks old so I just turned it on 5 days ago. I have several old tubes that are hard so it makes sense to use a lube. Maybe I was just lucky. I have ran perestaltic pumps in the past and never used the lube. This is actually the first time I have heard of it.
Thanks again as I am always up for learning something and this sounds beneficial.
Current system.

I really does make a nice difference. Runs super smooth. I run 50-60 mL/min currently, but for 1 yr solid I ran at 80mL/min. I’m just trying to see how low I can go without getting clogs. A steady fast drip reduces the amount of coral sediment that can clog your effluent. So far at 50 it seems to be ok. 80 work well, but was harder on the tubing and rollers. I don’t think it’s needed. Doubt I’ll go under 50 though. This stuff below is really nice. Highly recommend! Nice system btw. Looks like it will grow some corals.
