Hi all, where i live, access to some quality aquarium products is a bit limited but i can buy this product for kalkwasser and was wondering if its good enough. Its from a German manufacturer, that i email to ask what grade the product is and their answer was:" The product has only been tested for technical and laboratory uses!" They were kind enough to provide all info they had for the product. Are there any chemists here that can say wether you think is safe for aquarium use:

@Randy Holmes-Farley - desperately need you help. I red your article about different types and grades of Kalkwasser but still not clear for me wether this product has only been tested for technical and lab uses only and has never been tested for aquarium use hense - manufacturer cant quarantee or is definitely suitable only for technical use??? Your help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Ross!

I’d use it. It does seem to have a bunch of analyses that it needs to pass. While most of these are not exactly what we care about, it means it is a reasonably pure product that they care for in manufacturing.
