Herbie, herbie, herbie, herbie. Silent, easy, safe. It's technically what im running now as I got lazy in my plumbing and haven’t plumb the emergency line in yet ;Smuggrin
I already miss my synergy shadow... meh.

Im stuck here until i decide a few things.

1. Herbie or Durso OF. (Most likely herbie)

2. Can my 1900gph return handle a 2 lane manifold supporting a moderate UV and a Gfo reactor on standby? 2nd smaller slave pump dedicated to the manifold maybe? Closed loop dumping back into return chamber?

3. Controller and power management locations.

I don’t want any reactors off my return pump. If one clogs up or you take it on and offline it will change flow in your overflow.

Stuck here until i make a few decisions... i have chosen 36" for the stand height. I like the tank at a sitting level there, and it allows me to lean my head out over the center with ease.

This leaves me roughly 19/20" of room between the bottom of the display base shelf and the top of the sump. Should have a night back wall plumbed up when its through.

1. Herbie or Durso.

2a. Can my 1900gph return pump manage a 2 channel manifold? Supporting a moderate UV, and a GFO reactor.

2b. Or should i get a cheap slave pump to manage a closed-loop manifold that dumps back into the return chamber?

3. If i pet a bristle worm in the correct direction, can i avoid its spines? Like.. a pumpkin seed bluegills dorsil? Hmmm...

Im obviously tired. No sippin tonight or id blame that.

Okay guys.. u got my mind made up about the drain. Herbie it is.

Now i just gotta decide what flow rates im gonna need based on what reactor and uv i end up with. Itll be low and cheap.

I have no plan to run the uv or the reactor at all. But i want them both there in case of a whoops.

Why not bean animal if you have option of three drains
Its got three 1" bulkheads... 2 drains, 1 return. I wonder if i can drill the back of this cube for returns... oh man. Clocks ticking. Praying its not tempered cuz i will be soooooo tempted to drill returns and run it BA.

Oh ones the return. Asked because I’m deciding how to do mine. Think it comes with Maggie mufflers but thinking bean animal. Would like to have two drains and one emergency but then my emergency won’t keep up if both clog.
