@CierraBeckwith nice work. Thanks for posting this. I have a sheet in my cart to have a go at one for my reefer 300. I'll be using a router since I have one collecting dust.

Yes I do! I use these. You can find cheaper ones at harbor freight etc.It looks like you machine /cut the edges so the lids rests on the tank and doesn't slide off. Can you share the bit you use for that purpose?
Yes I did!Did you attaché the netting to the lid with the screws? Just screw through the mesh?
Oh this is a super good idea too. I almost thought about buying two 1/8 pieces of polycarbonate and sandwiching them together to make the place where the netting is installed look more clean.1/8” bit above and 3/32 window spline works perfect. I like to drag a razor blade or knife down the groove to take the sharp edges off “or a piece of sand paper” it helps when installing the mesh and keeps it from cutting the mesh when installing it.
I can do that!Very solid, highly recommend writing up a thorough "how to" for us who wish to replicate this awesomeness!
Acrylic will warp badly in a couple days if used as a lid.Why did you use polycarbonate over acrylic ?
Yes exactly, that's what I figured out doing a bunch of researching before I made the lids.Acrylic will warp badly in a couple days if used as a lid.
