I've just added my 1st livestock to my 56l tank.

I have a question about my lighting now. I've had it off during the cycle and going to keep it off today, to let him settle in.
This AI Blade has a lot of controls, what intensity should I set it to?
Then there's "royal blue", "blue" and "cool white". Are these simply aesthetic options, or do they play a major part in coral growth and health?
How many hours a day should I run the light to begin with?

On the subject of flow, I've had my AI Nero 3 set to 1050 GPH constant. Would it be a good idea to change it to a pulse selection now?
What would be a good on/off time for the pulse duration.

I don't have that light so I can't offer any advise there. How long has your tank been set u? Just curious since it seems so clean. :)

I set it up on the 14th of July, took nearly a month to cycle.
Not had an ugly stage yet.

what are your goals for the tank? are you looking to eventually add corals? without coral it really doesn’t matter too much, mix and match the blues and whites to find a color you are happy with. I’ve found yellow fish really pop in bluer lighting. personal preference though.

I have always had mine on pulse, I’ve found it mixes up the flow a bit more

Yeah, the plan is to add corals.
If things stay stable I'm hoping to add a little GSP to that little rock at the middle front, hopefully it shouldn't be able to spread to anything else.
But that'll be in a few weeks/month.

The blades are pretty easy to set up. Corals need the blues more than the whites. I used the whites to even out the blues. If you use the mobius app you can down load different spectrums and schedules.

yeah I’d personally just turn up the blues, violet, royal, uv, keep the greens and red under 10% and turn up the white to your liking, once you measure your par and figure out what types of corals and where you’re putting them you can adjust the intensity.

this is me personally, there are so many different ways to program your lights. BRStv has a lot of informative videos on lights. not sure if they have one on the blade but worth a shot.
