So I just added some magnesium and calcium. I noticed my levels were not great so I raised the calcium to 400ppm from 380 and the magnesium to 1290ppm from 1250ppm.
I did this over 12 hours and the Xenia have not opened as well nor are they all pulsing….
The other corals look super happy and more colourful. I also fed the tank with Live phyto for the first time yesterday and dossed seachem reef plus.
Usually the pulsing Xenia was a bright pink full and lush and now it’s a darker pink purple, not fully extended and some sucked in and some pulsing others are not?…
Is this stress from the change and will they an adapt?
Encrusting gorginan is also not opening.
Alk is 12
Calcium 400
Magnesium 1290
PH 7.8-8
Nitrates 2.6
Phos under .25
SG 1.026
Temp 77
