This will be the first Joe Knows Reefs chalice grow out. Joe has set us up with a number of great chalices that have been held until fully healed and properly mounted to the plug with epoxy. The plan is to grow the chalices out until we have at least 5 eyes to equally split.

Looking really nice Jim. I should've jumped in when you offered it up to me for sure. I'll be following along with you guys. Hopefully that Flash Bomb will color up for you. Maybe it's lighting, but I thought it was more orange base with a yellow rim? Best of luck guys.

Hi Guys

I wanted to give a quick update. All the chalices have settled in well and are eating now. There is no real outward growth happening yet. But it does appear that the Rack City chalice has a couple of new eyes forming. They still appear under the skin of the chalice. There appears to be 4 spots but could just turn into 2 to 4 eyes. I am going to try to take some pictures this weekend to update the thread.

yes I will see if I can take some later tonight.

Dynamite - one main eye and I thiink one baby starting
Flash - Now has 2 eyes
Atom - still 1 eyes but seems to be growing up. This guys is a great eater
Firebella - Still 2 eyes but nice and puffy and happy
Cosmic - still 1 eye but rim has filled in where he was cut. Slow eater.
Rack City - 3 eyes to start. New 2-3 new eyes growing some seem to be merging together so dont know how many will be when they are done growing
Merlin - 1 eye still but happy and is a very faster eater.

I will get some pics up tonight or by this weekend.

Here are some pics of the chalices. I am still working on learning how to take better pics of them. I think I need to start taking the pictures on Med setting.
