Hey all, my tank is almost a year old now so I figure it's time to post a build thread
Tank:
Used JBJ 24g from Craigslist
Lighting: SmatFarm G5
Filtration: 5g tank converted into a sump, Aquatop media tumbler with RowaPhos, Aquatop 7W UV Sterilizer, Macro Aqua M-50 protein skimmer
Feeding: 2g of LRS Reef Frenzy, 1ml of marine Selcon, 4ml of ReefEnergy AB+ all mixed together for 15 minutes before broadcast feeding
Fish (In order of acquisition):
Gold Nugget Maroon Clownfish
Red Firefish
Longnose Hawkfish
Midas Blenny
Northern Clingfish
Purple Firefish
Pink Spotted Watchman Goby
I have a swathe of inverts, including hermit crabs of several varieties, several types of snails, a few Fockflowers and a Black Widow BTA, a Peppermint shrimp for Aiptasia control, and a Yellow Coral banded shrimp, and a Porcelain crab
As far as coral goes I've pretty much only got softies, I haven't been able to keep any LPS or SPS alive for more than a couple months. I'm guessing my parameters just aren't stable enough for more sensitive coral yet. All my softies are happy and growing nicely, though.
