Is this torch happy?

Crisata teal torch. I’ve never had a torch and 2 months into the hobby. Is he happy?

Looks like a cristata, looks like a currently happy cristata.

However, should have more neck. But, could be due to splitting?

Looks happy. Cristatas don’t get very long, they stay pretty short to the base

Approx 3 weeks. Parameters Unknown. Salinity is 1.26. Weekly water changes and siphoning. I have some test kits but not sure how to use them or read them properly. Thinking about getting a Hannah if being honest .

I definitely would recommend getting some esp if you plan on having coral. I have some Hannah’s I like them I also use a trident because I’m away from home often.

Easy to operate? Which ones you recommend to get

The Hannah’s are they are a little spendy but I like the digital read out instead of guessing colors.

Also I would give your tank some time to mature atleast a few months before adding any more coral just my 2 cents.

Easy to operate? Which ones you recommend to get

Get a good refractor,calcium,magnesium,Alk phosphate, nitrate. If you don’t have any you’re definitely going to need some otherwise you’re really going to struggle and be discouraged and kill things. Most lfs will test your water if you bring a sample. In order to keep everything alive its a lot of work. To get it to grow is even more. The rewards are great though the feeling of growing stuff and keeping it all happy in a glass box are pretty cool.

Torches are finicky…anything can set them off.
