there is no better fix possible than taking your tank apart copying threads where this is logged, cleaning every section, doing a full water change, acclimating it all back using the mapping thread and then re ramping up your lights for a week. anything shy of that is less likely to help you.

how resolved are you to fixing this/ no hesitation>? It is much harder to convince people to fix their tank than to actually fix it, you'd be amazed at the willingness to grip onto invasions people will display. its not hard to fix invaded frag tanks, its hard to convince the owners to uninvade them. so many reasons they wont...

Id/measure/buy something/install/wait = hesitate

rip clean=not hesitate, tank looks sharp by tomorrow. simply opt to whip it into shape. put it through forced exercise program, participation mandatory.

Is it white. I had white and I think it was bacterial as it was in my seperate 120 and 45 frag tanks.
Scooped it all out cleaned skimmers and sump addes MB7 and it was gone in the 120 overnight and took a couple of days in the frag tank.
Only thing that made any sense is I had the windows open for a few days before it came.

I'm pretty well willing to do anything, it seems like anytime I do a lot things get worse though. Is there a thread that explains how to do a complete clean like your talking about. Would I have to remove rock and all? Wouldn't that start my cycling completely over?

The flow in display might actually be a bit too strong but the powered i have is on low its just a small tank, and there is also a return. The sums flow is only the return pump.

OK well I read a shot load, but each of those have a rabbit hole of links. So a few questions; what mixture of peroxide? Do I spray it on or dip tooth bush in it constantly? Can I just get rid of sand completely(i think lack of cleaning it may have started the problem)? Can I do my sump one day stick all live stock in it, and then do the main tank the next day? What's the best way to clean the inside of the plumbing to and from the sump? Should I Bayer dip, then iodine dip all coral before re-entry? Do I need to do some kind of dip for fish and inverts before re-entry? Should I throw out my chaeto and buy new? I guess thats more than a few lol, but if I'm to do this, I'd like to have a full game plan seeing as its going to be a long battle.

I'm still not sure what to do I've read through all that I can see and there are no real steps, just a lot of debate. I get take out all of the rock and scrub anything off that isn't Coralline. Also I have to clean all the sand, remove all filter media. I don't understand how peroxide comes in. Do I put some in a bucket where I soak the rocks, or do I spray on the rocks while I scrub, or do I dip the toothbrush in the peroxide as u scrub? Also do i have to get rid of my chaeto, or can I clean A small part and keep it?
