So I'm not in the position to make a permanent mixing and WC station and I'm sick of carrying buckets up stairs.
My plan is to drop a hose from my window to the laundry room door where my mixing barrel is.
I want to use python hose because it's soft and doesn't kink. But it's 5/8" I believe.
The hose will probably be 30' or less and it'll have to push up 15'.
I'm thinking a Syncra 5.0 Pump. 1321gph, 12.6' max head, 5.47psi

I have a Syncra 2.0 in my mixing barrel right now but I don't think that'll push up that high.

If the height is going to be 15ft high plus a long lateral run I don't think this pump will work for you. You'll need a larger head height

The only tricky part will be your need to be in two places at one time basically, you can figure out a workaround.

It would be easy to reduce flow with a ball valve, and control water level with a float valve in the aquarium sump. I think too much flow is better than not enough in this case. You certainly don't want to take an hour to refill 10 gallons of water.

The thin diameter of the python also will restrict the flow and lower the gph at the tank. That sump pump outlet is 1.25 inches and cutting that in half will greatly reduce performance.

Ive got a jeboa in the basement pusing my water change water to the fish room I have it on a kasa smart plug. Turn it on and off with my phone. Works great. I dont have 15' plus of head pressure though. Ive got about 6' up and 20-25' horizontal, I use a zilla 3/4" hose. I think the pump is a 4500.
